A atleta do Clube BM&FBOVESPA está aproveitando as provas na Europa para se adaptar ao clima de glamour que vai encontrar no Mundial de Berlim
A saltadora Fabiana Murer quer aproveitar os dois Grand Prix da Golden League que ainda saltará antes do Mundial de Berlim para se adaptar ao glamour que marca as competições de atletismo na Europa. "Estar numa prova com todas as líderes do ranking, sentir-se parte da elite mundial, ter estádios grandes como os de futebol lotados por um público que conhece atletismo e vibra... É tudo muito diferente daqui do Brasil, onde temos familiares nas arquibancadas”, observou Fabiana. A atleta disputa o Grand Prix Golden Gala, de Roma, mais uma etapa do calendário da Golden League, nesta sexta-feira (10/7), a partir das 14h30 (horário de Brasília). Já aclimatada ao fuso horário, após dez dias na Europa, a campeã pan-americana e recordista sul-americana do salto com vara (4,82 m), quer repetir suas melhores marcas da temporada. Fabiana ainda vai saltar dia 17, em Paris, outra etapa da Golden League, antes de dedicar um mês apenas aos treinos para o Mundial.
"O que eu vou encontrar em Roma e em Paris é o mesmo que terei no Mundial, já que este ano a competição mais importante da temporada também será na Europa. Todas as atletas de ponta no salto com vara estão aqui e eu entre elas – sou a segunda do ranking mundial. Hoje já conheço os organizadores, me relaciono em condições de igualdade com todas as atletas. Ainda estranho um pouco o público. Sei que não será fácil, mas sei também que a medalha no Mundial é possível”, observou Fabiana. "Fisicamente, é o melhor momento dela em toda a carreira. A Fabiana também está muito bem tecnicamente e vamos buscar a estabilidade dos resultados”, observou o técnico Élson Miranda, que acompanha a atleta em todas as competições na Europa.
A saltadora fará a preparação final para o Mundial (de 15 a 23 de agosto) na cidade italiana de Fórmia, no centro de treinamento da Associação Internacional das Federações de Atletismo (Iaaf), onde está também o brasileiro Fábio Gomes dos Santos. "É um local bem interessante. Tem infraestrutura de treinamento, restaurante, alojamento. A gente faz tudo lá”, conta Fabiana.
O Clube BM&FBOVESPA tem como consultor para seus atletas do salto com vara o técnico ucraniano Vitaly Petrov, que orienta a recordista mundial Yelena Isinbayeva e foi técnico do recordista mundial Sergey Bubka.Fabiana Murer aparece como a segunda colocada no ranking mundial de 2009 (com 4,82 m, recorde sul-americano), atrás apenas da bicampeã mundial e olímpica e recordista mundial (5,05 m), Yelena Isinbayeva (que saltou 4,83 m este ano), e à frente da norte-americana Jennifer Stuczynski (4,81 m).
